Perfumery is, like many other professions, more than a simple profession. This is a vocation, a passion and an art in its own right. Such was the case of Emilie Coppermann who sealed her destiny when she met a perfume designer when she was a teenager.

Emilie Coppermann’s journey

Emilie Coppermann was drawn to the idea of ​​a career in perfumery at a very young age. Indeed, a striking encounter with a perfumer made her want to integrate this fascinating universe when she was barely 13 years old. Determined to pursue her dream, she naturally turned to study chemistry. She then joined the largest international perfume school: ISIPCA in Versailles. His talent was quickly recognized by the perfumers of Symrise and more particularly by Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Dominique Ropion. Both decided to take her under their wings and this is how she integrated this company in which she has been practicing since its beginnings. She admits having learned a lot from these two noses recognized around the world. They are the ones who taught him the fundamentals of perfumery. Likewise, Emilie Coppermann has at the same time forged sincere ties with perfumer Maurice Roucel, another personality in the olfactory world that she considers to be one of her mentors.

Emilie Coppermann’s woody style

Although influenced by the world of perfumers who trained her, Emilie Coppermann has developed her own style. In addition, she admits to being very attracted by woody scents. These funds form the basis of each of his creations, whether they are masculine or feminine fragrances. She often associates them with fresher tones and particularly likes galbabum, mandarin or angelica. Jacques Carles, president of the Center for Luxury and Creation, says of her that she “draws her inspiration from passion” and that her essences “lead us astutely into a world of wood and spicy perfumes. Emilie Coppermann considers everything to be a source of inspiration. She uses, in this case, each of her trips, her many encounters and her curiosity to create ever more successful perfumes. She has, among other things, developed the famous Kapsules by Karl Lagarfeld as well as Play and Play Intense by Givenchy or the iconic Black XS for her by Paco Rabanne.
